About Anna Byrd, LMHC

Anna Byrd, perinatal therapist serving Massachusetts

Therapy for Pregnancy, Postpartum, & Motherhood in Massachusetts

Welcome! My name is Anna, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. With advanced training from Postpartum Support International, I specialize in working with women who are on the journey of pregnancy, postpartum, and/or motherhood

Therapy for Moms Across Massachusetts

I offer psychotherapy sessions to new and experienced moms in Massachusetts tailored to your unique experiences, providing a space to explore whatever is on your mind - past, present, or both. Together, we’ll uncover patterns, deepen your understanding of the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and equip you with tools to navigate them. When beneficial, I can also incorporate movement therapy, using the body as a powerful tool for healing and self-expression.

While I work with individuals navigating a variety of concerns, I have additional specialized training in Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (i-CBT), an evidence-based approach for treating OCD and anxiety. This allows me to support clients who may be experiencing intrusive thoughts, compulsive patterns, or persistent worry with targeted, research-backed interventions.

I graduated from Lesley University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a specialty in Dance/Movement Therapy.  Therapy is a deeply personal experience, and my priority is creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered. We’ll set goals together, moving at a pace that feels right for you, ensuring that each step aligns with your comfort and needs.

If you're looking for therapy for new moms, postpartum therapy, or pregnancy therapy in Massachusetts, I'd love to connect.
