FAQ's

What states do you offer virtual therapy in?

Blaire Melius Counseling LLC provides online therapy throughout Massachusetts and New Jersey.

How long are therapy sessions?

Therapy sessions are 55 minutes.

How do I schedule a session?

Head to the contact page and fill out the inquiry form. We'll hop on a 15 minute call to make sure it's a good fit before booking your first session.

Do you take insurance?

Blaire is in network with Aetna. Anna is in network with Aetna, BCBS of MA, and Point 32 (Tufts/Harvard Pilgrim). We are otherwise considered out of network and are happy to submit claims on your behalf to use your out of network benefits. You can check your out of network benefits here. Private pay/out of network sessions are $200.

How is a perinatal therapist different than a general therapist?

A perinatal therapist has specialized training and experience in mental health concerns related to pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. This specialization allows for a deeper understanding of the emotional, hormonal, and identity-related transitions that often accompany these experiences.

What issues do you specialize in as maternal mental health therapists?

Our areas of focus include perinatal and maternal mental health, postpartum depression, anxiety, obsessive or intrusive thought patterns, fertility challenges, birth trauma, and loss.

How much do sessions cost?

If you are using your insurance, sessions will cost whatever your deductible/co-pay/co-insurance is. We can provide you with an estimate for this ahead of time. If you are out of network/private pay, sessions are $200. Please note: Blaire is only in network with Aetna. Anna is in network with Aetna, BCBS of MA, and Point 32 (Harvard Pilgrim/Tufts).
